Here is a brief description of each part of the site to help you fully benefit
from the service.

Your wish lists:
The wish list service enables you to compile a list of your most wanted
gifts online to give access to your friends and family using a unique
individual password. Useful for Birthday's, Christmas time, getting married,
having a baby, moving home or any special occasion. When it is gift giving
time they can simply log on, check out your wish list and tick off the
item they want to give you to avoid the present being bought twice. Additionally,
help your friends and family further by completing your profile so that
if they prefer to give you something they have chosen themselves rather
then from your wish list, they can see what makes you tick.
See others' wish lists:
Get your friends and family to start their wish lists and have them
give you access. You will be able to see exactly what things they would
like or alternatively, if you prefer to give something that you have chosen
yourself you can check out their profile.

Personal profile and preferences
Here you add specific information about yourself that is viewed by all those
you send your wish lists to. (see here for examples).This
is to help them make an informed choice when choosing something for you.
So, for example, you should never again receive a gift that is the wrong
size or colour.
Completing your profile enables you to 'tell' your friends and families
certain information about yourself that either they are too shy to ask,
or you've been too shy to mention, or to simply list your favourite brands,
products etc so a whatever is chosen for you really is 'just what you want'.
This way, you can enhance the surprise element and enjoyment of receiving
a gift.Whilst we would encourage members to fill in their profile completely,
you can complete as much or as little as you wish.

Promise Vouchers
Why not choose a free time /gesture gift created from our range of thoughtful
and innovative ideas. These gifts take the form of a voucher and can be
a promise or whatever you want it to be, in printed format. |

You give the voucher along with your birthday/Christmas/celebration
card to someone for them to 'cash in' when they choose. For example, you
could give someone breakfast in bed for a week or simply an hour of your
time. The possibilities are endless. TPK has prepared a wide range of ready
to print vouchers, including ones left blank, which can be printed whenever
you like.

If you are dating:
Put some fun into dating? Test the water by giving the person who catches
your eye a Present Knowledge voucher inviting them out for a drink or a
meal. Hopefully the novelty value of the voucher will break the ice. Put
an expiry date on your voucher and if you don't hear back from them you'll
have a good idea where you stand!
For your partner:

If you are having a party/get-together and would like your guests to bring along some food or specific items to help your party swing simply make your list and mail it out to your invitees. It works exactly like a wish list, your invitees simply log on and tick off what they would like to bring. Saving everyone countless phone calls and avoiding duplication and unnecessary leftovers.

Involved in a sponsored event?
How many times have you taken part in a sponsored event and asked people to sponsor you but you never had the form on you at that particular time, or you couldn't catch friends and family at the right time. You can detail all the information about your fundraising and sponsored event and ask your friends and family to sponsor you online. Then after you've taken part in your sponsored triathlon, slim, walk or bike ride you can collect your sponsors in the normal way for your chosen charity.
